Thank you for using hamclockbackend.online.
This site is dedicated to the memory of Elwood Downey, WB0OEW/SK2026, the creator of the original open-source HamClock project.
hamclockbackend.online provides a community service to help keep HamClock devices operational beyond the original
project's sunset and to provide a mechanism to continue to provide hamclock zip files with updated functionality.
It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the original HamClock project,
Elwood Downey, Clearsky Institute.
"HamClock" is a trademark of Bruce Edrich. For more information about HamClock, see HamClock.com.
This is an independent, unofficial backend provided by the amateur radio community for fellow hams.
HamClock software stored on this server is made freely available under MIT License. Here is a copy of the license provided with HamClock; however, Elwood Downey is SK and emails sent to the address in the license are returned with a reply that Elwood Downey is no longer living.

Note well "THE SOFTWARE" refers only to what is running on the client side. It does not include the backend services, without which HamClock is nearly useless. Backend services costs me real money but I provide it free of charge for the benefit of the amateur radio community. Users who build HamClock for their own personal use are welcome but if you make money from HamClock, please contact me before proceeding to discuss terms at ecdowney@clearskyinstitute.com.
